Changes in the South African Presidency

The Presidency of the Republic of South Africa has announced further changes to the highest office in the country. It announced on Friday 22 June 2012 that political adviser to President Jacob Zuma, Mr. Charles Nqakula has been appointed High Commissioner to Mozambique. Mr. Nqakula has previously held the office of minister of deference and minister of safety and security (now police). He previously led a ‘facilitation team’ to Zimbabwe and served as President Zuma’s special envoy to Sudan.

The Presidency also announced that its former spokesman, Mr. Zizi Kodwa had joined the Gauteng Film Commission as communications and marketing manager on June 1.

The management and staff of ETHICORE wishes to congratulate both Mr. Nqakula and Mr. Kodwa on their new appointments and wish both of them well in their new roles. We also wish to thank them for their service to the Republic of South Africa in the positions which they have held to date.
